For more than three decades, Bayview Barbershop has been the cultural and community hub for patrons in South Whidbey. Within her modest, one-room storefront, owner Sarah Val creates a welcoming space where clients can enjoy a sense of both community and connection. The only barber south of Oak Harbor who still features walk-in service on the island, Sarah cares deeply for her loyal clientele and ensures each of them enjoys a personalized and meaningful experience.

Mobile Barber Services—We’ll come to you. For clients unable to visit the shop, we’ll make an in-home appointment. Cost is $50 and up, depending on travel time. Call to schedule your appointment.

Sarah has been pursuing her passion for creating a community through haircuts since 2012. A licensed cosmetologist, barber, and aesthetician, Sarah became the owner of the Bayview Barbershop in 2018. Her storefront serves as a hub, where she fosters a deep connection with her South Whidbey clients. For her, developing relationships with the community is at the forefront of her business—whether through client visits to her shop or home visits for clients unable to travel to her South Whidbey location. When she’s not cutting hair, Sarah pursues her dual love of snow sports and mountain biking.

With a passion for detail, Jeff is a skilled barber specializing in clipper cuts and straight razor shaves. Drawing on years of experience in the grooming industry, Jeff has honed a reputation for delivering exceptional services that leave clients looking and feeling their best. When not in the barber shop, Jeff spends time on two of his other passions: working on cars and spending quality time with his wife and kids. Whether in the barbershop or the garage, Jeff is always focused on mastering his craft and serving those around him.

With 16 years of experience behind the chair, she specializes in masculine cuts, vivid color, and special occasion styling. A licensed cosmetologist and educator, she has spent years mentoring fellow stylists while continually refining her own craft. Constance is passionate about creating a welcoming, judgment-free space where every client feels safe, seen, and heard. She believes every appointment should be a conversation—and that every client should leave feeling their absolute best, inside and out.
